How do I qualify for my health card coverage internationally? In most cases, there is a set limit to the distance from one’s home country to another. For example, one health card may start the coverage if you are traveling more than 150 kilometers from home.

On the other hand, comprehensive health insurance plans in the Philippines can cover you in all countries utilizing their partner health institutions for a number of days (30 to 90 days).

Your health card type of account will determine the payment scheme. In most cases, you will still pay annual or semi-annual for most HMO plans. The coverage within international health systems will be based on your maximum benefit limit in US dollar to Philippine peso conversion.
