What if I went to a hospital that is not a partner of my HMO? Well, usually you can reimburse what you spent on a non-partner hospital. This is also applicable for emergency cases. But some companies may only reimburse at least 80% of your total bill.
That’s why it is important that you carefully consider an HMO that includes your preferred hospital, especially the one near you.
